Notter Bridge Park

“We became proud grandparents in April 2018 and as our son and his wife and baby daughter live in Callington we decided that we needed somewhere close by to them to stay when we came down to visit, in order to spend quality time with them and not intrude upon their space!

We had looked at other Holiday Home sites, but they were dark and oppressive and not really what we were looking for. Then my husband came across Tamar View Holiday Homes website and we were really impressed with what we saw. We were coming down to Cornwall again, so we booked an appointment to visit some of the holiday homes. The first impression was how lovely and well kept the site was. It was open but carefully planned so none of the holiday homes overlooked one another and importantly to us it was dog friendly. We visited different lodges and caravans and found one in particular that we fell in love with! It had a magnificent view from the lounge area and all the facilities that we were looking for and the site was open for eleven months of the year which was perfect! We decided to buy it there and then and filled in the paperwork the following day, it was really easy and not complicated!

All the people on the site are friendly and helpful and we have become good friends with Clare and Tim and the rest of the team who have helped make our holiday home perfect!”

“My husband Kevin is from Plymouth and we always thought that when we retired, we would move there from our house in Leicestershire. When the time came, leaving our home of forty years, our three grown up children and our season tickets for Leicester City FC proved too much. Our lovely caravan at Notterbridge was the ideal solution. It is perfectly situated for us. It is close to Plymouth for visiting family. We can walk along the Hoe, eat and drink on the Barbican and of course there is the shopping. Plymouth is truly the “Ocean City”. We are also close to the many beautiful beaches and towns that Cornwall and Devon have to offer.

We come down on average for a week once a month, staying longer over the Summer months. Our caravan is by the river where the swans and ducks greet us most mornings. The site is very peaceful and beautifully maintained with a lovely barbeque area and friendly neighbours. Clare and her team are always helpful and organise social events for the owners. We have made the perfect choice for us and plan to spend many happy years here.”

Notter Bridge Waterfront

“Notter Bridge Caravan Park was recommended to us by a friend in the year 2000.  We decided to come for a short break, nineteen years later we are still coming down from London for a break!!!!!

We fell in love with the peace and tranquillity and purchased our first holiday home that same year.  The site then consisted of privately owned vans, holiday lets and touring vans.

Since Ian purchased the park he has made many changes which have been beneficial.  The nature trail and the picturesque pond are lovely and the site is kept immaculate.  The Management on site are very helpful in any situation that arises.

Our Grandson who is now 11 years of age has been coming here since birth, this year he stated that it was like home from home.

I think this sums up the feeling for us all as a family!!!

We look forward to spending many more happy years here in our special part of Cornwall.”

“Martin and I always thought we would like a place here if it turned into a

static van site and we were the first to buy here. When the work started we

were so excited.

We love the view which changes with the light and the weather. It is so

peaceful and quiet here. It is very easy to relax.

Claire , Tim and their team work really hard and are very friendly.

We love seeing the site developing and more people moving in. We wont be

going anywhere else in a hurry.”

Tamar View Park

“Twenty years ago, whenever we drove through St Ann’s Chapel we admired the amazing view down the scenic Tamar Valley to the shimmering waters and boats coming and going in Plymouth Sound. We always said if ever we got the opportunity, we would buy a home with that view! We returned to the area for a visit in 2017, saw Tamar View Holiday Park and purchased one of the first available homes.

It continues to meet all our expectations: the rolling clouds scudding along in the valley below; sunshine lighting up the mediaeval fields of corn, the Roscoff ferry making its way into Plymouth harbour, and the flashing light of Edison Lighthouse after dark – some 15 miles away. Most of all we appreciate the peace and quiet of Tamar View – the chance to sit out on our sunny deck with a glass of wine after a walk in the countryside and just listen to birdsong and enjoy that view. It’s priceless.”

Notter Bridge Park River

“We chose Notter because of the tranquil location next to the river and yet only short drive to Saltash or Plymouth  for all the facilities and entertainment you could need. The site is beautifully well kept and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We love to spend time watching the wildlife  from our veranda, which is right by the riverside or strolling around the pond on a summers evening. Our holiday home came well equipped with all the essentials and tastefully decorated just ready for us to  put our personal touches to it so it is now a real home from home.”
